About Sea Recovery

Sea Recovery watermakers

For more than 30 years, Sea Recovery has the largest worldwide market share in the market for reverse osmosis watermakers. The watermakers, based on the principle of reverse osmosis, filter sea water, resulting in clear drinking water. A watermaker on board has many advantages for the ship’s crew and passengers.

Watermaker: money and space-saving

Using a Sea Recovery watermaker, bunkering of drinking water becomes oblivious and large storage tanks won’t be necessary anymore. The added value of a watermaker is immediately apparent. There is clear drinking water all the time and when you need more, extra water can instantly be produced. Thanks to the compact construction, the watermaker does not need much space and the high degree of automation makes Sea Recovery very user-friendly.

From limited to extensive water demand

Theunissen Technical Trading, supplier for the Benelux, focuses on both smaller yachts, mega yachts and small to mid-size commercial ships. Compact watermakers are available for smaller ships. Some watermakers are operating on 12 or 24 VDC. The Aqua Mini 170, for example, makes 27 litres of drinking water per hour based on 12 or 24 VDC power supply. This watermaker is ideal for smaller yachts (approximately 10 to 15m). But ship owners who need more than 1,000 litres per hour can contact TTT as well. The Coral Sea watermaker is extremely suitable for that amount. Even for cruise liners, suitable systems have been developed, with a capacity of up to 1,250,000 litres a day.
